Creative Coast Workshop

The overall goal of this workshop with Creative Coast, a non-profit tech company in Savannah, GA, was to assist in creating a vision and game plan for their yearly Geekend conference. My team's aim was to facilitate this goal by encouraging participation and understanding from both the in-house team and board members, help bridge the gap between values and objectives, and align on a success metrics for Geekend.

Exquisite Geek

The intent of this activity was to creatively activate the participants both individually and collaboratively and to inspire an open mindset about expressing perspectives while creating a team bond.

The World Cafe

This activity challenged each participant's listening skills. It consisted of three rounds of conversation with one participant talking at a time while the others drew what they were hearing.

5 Bold Steps

This activity was meant to help the participants align on a shared vision and common language for Geekend.                                                                                   

Reflection

The guided reflection activity created a space for every participant to share their thoughts and feelings with their peers. This helped to bring closure not only to the workshop, but for themselves and the team.
